We visited the Land Between the Lakes  (LBL) April 10-13, 2006.  This was our first visit to just to see the sites. All of our other trips to date have been to visit friends and family. You can get a very good LBL map here.  During our visit we stopped at the North Welcome Station, the Woodlands Nature Station and Hematite Lake, the Elk and Bison Prairie, the Golden Pond Visitor Center and Planetarium, The 1850s Homeplace, and finally the Great Western Iron Furnace Ruins.  We stayed at the Paducah KOA Campground, on Highway 62 just west of the entrance to LBL.
